Today is the last post of  Blog Marathon..Yes 30th post today..if you remember i started this Blog Marathon on May 12th 2012 and today its 30th day.

I am really happy to gain more bloggers,page views,comments from other bloggers..wow..really had a happy 30 days and yes will continue the same.

Coming August this Blog 1st year birthday..so again will start Blog Marathon soon closer to the date and next time will be interesting with lot more interactions etc.

Blog marathon - Post 23 - Powerful Gujarat

Hey all :-) hope you all doing well.ok let me come to 23rd post of Blog Marathon "Powerful Gujarat",this is guest post by my good friend Shyam Sundar (click this to check his blog)

Facing acute power shortage, these days????Electricity has become a scarce resource in almost every city. Bihar is the state with least power supply. In TamilNadu, the project undertaken by the Central Government was in standstill and the political issue has just now sorted out in a place called "Kudankulam" and is on the process

But in Gujarat the case is otherwise.They will never have power scarcity. Because they adopt a method, to meet the acute power shortage. And it is neither dependent on water nor on wind.

They generate electricity by means of thermal power(Heat Energy).One can think that its still seasonal and is possible only on peak summers. But this is different.Here the power is extracted from the radiations emerging from water evaporations,where the heat energy is converted into electrical energy. The Gujrat Government has outsourced it to OPG Power Plant and are looking for environmental clearance to undertake such projects.

The Power Plant will assure atleast 500 MW of power that can be generated from this radiation



There are certain advantages that we need to ascertain from this project:

• It is cost-effective as compared to that from the coal, hydro or wind.It is not only cost effective but also consumer effective.

• Non Seasonal:-It can be a UPS(Uninterrupted Power Supply).Because,Hydro Electric Power is costly.So is the one from Coal. But this is purely economical and non-seasonal.

•  An alternate way:- It an alternate way obviously.Even if all the other ways fail,it will still be the one that is readily available,as the radiation takes every now and then.

• Better Employment opportunities: Being an ongoing project,it also offers more employment opportunities to people as there will always be starving demand of Manpower.

• Longevity:-Like any other resources, even this thermal resources last long.As already quoted it to be unseasonal,it is also a  long lasting resource that is efficacious.

When Gujrat can why can’t we???Not only that,many remarble accomplishments over the standard of  living of  the people,women safety and quality of work-life is achieved by Gujarat Government.That is because inspite of the politics,the govt is running corruption free.That is the only reason why Gujarat is rocking in all its endeavours,inspite of being an Indian state.Tatahstu!!!!!!

Blog Marathon-Post 17-Beat The Heat

Hello my friends :-) Namsathe (Hai) to all my readers who reading this :-)

So coming to our Post 17th..Yes this is our 17th post of Blog Marathon and still 13 post to remain to complete our 30 day target but dont fear after this Blog Marathon also i will update my blog frequently to interact with you people :-)

Ok coming to todays post i am going to share some ideas to beat the heat..Yes,Summers are in Peak now so you have to take care of yourself :-)



Here are some ways to beat the heat :-

• Drink Plenty of Water :-

During summer,Our body loses maximum amount of  water through perspiration.So why its more important to take plenty of water in a day.if you drink normally 8 glass of water in a day make it upto 12.you can also drink through Juice and liquid items etc .

• Bathe at-least two-three times a day :-

Yes,During Summer we need to make fresh always so that wee can work easily.So Bathe atleast two-three times in a day.

• Eat Light :-

                                      Avoid fried and heavy foods that take long to digest  and it may slow your body cooling process. Substitute a heavy meal with salads made from tomatoes,lettuce,cucumber and spinach.This diet will give you a lot less sluggish and will help you drop pounds over the summer.

• Limit Sun Exposure :-

As far as possible stay indoors. but if your work requires a step-out,opt for a convenient mode of transport. also make sure to leave early and return at sunset so that you miss the afternoon sun which is most damaging your skin. use sun-screens regularly if in-case you opt-out to go in afternoon.

• Go to Vacations in Hilly Areas :-

If all else fails, why don't you take a break and head to any hill station's and refresh yourself with its breathtaking beauty?

ant the result is KKR won the titles against CSK..Yes now new champions of IPL is KKR

this is the first win of KKR and CSK Lost their Hatrick dream.

In this final match of IPL 5 botht team played well and it was a nail biting finish by KKR.

This year IPL was a great season and it comes to an end now :-)

Hope In IPL 6 new team joins and make it more entertaining

Good news for CSK Fans...Yes Yes :-) CSK enters Final again for 4th time in 5 IPL's ;-)

If they win then this will be a Hatrick for them ;-) ya they won 2 times so far and now marching towards 3rd win..Hatrick win!:-)

now they will face with KKR on Sunday 27th May 2012 :-)

CSK played well in Elimintors against MI and Qualifiers 2 against DD..So now they are in Form.So KKR have to play hard to Grab :-)

Lets see this IPL 2012 gonna be a Hatrick win for CSK or 1st win for KKR

So guys to whom you supporting? CSK or KKR ??

Falling rupees scares 55.91 for $1 :(

yes currently rupees price are falling down and dont know what gonna happen in near future

Petrol Price hiked upto Rs.7.50 per liter

Yes..this is so sad for our indians :-( Rs.7.50 hike is huge...but government is saying this is the effect of Rupees low in market..i guess this huge petrol hike is going to be difficult

fire in PNB branch near patel chowk-Delhi

yes...fire in Punjab national bank-patel chowk but no injuries

CSK Won against MI and qualified for qualifiers 2 to play against DD :-)

Yes Chennai super kings won b 38 runs against Mumbai Indians and they will play on Friday with DD to enter into final against KKR

(DD-Delhi Daredevils,KKR- Kolkata Knight Riders)

Blog Marathon-Post 10-Save Trees

Trees are important, valuable and necessary for the existence of any living creature on earth. They are essential to life as we know it and are the ground troops on an environmental frontline

Why Do We need to Save Trees ?

First of all we need to think about ourselves. People's carbon footprint is steadily rising and there is no way to counter this especially with the decline in forest areas in the world. Help us help you to reduce this footprint by planting a life bearing tree.

Every person on average need a tree covered area of 25m X 25m to produce enough oxygen to breath. I know that this is not the only way that oxygen is produced on the planet but would it not be nice to know that you have a direct way to contribute to this need.

Another advantage that the trees will give you is the absorption of pollutants and contaminants out of the air. This means a cleaner environment that will result in a health benefit.

Trees also protect the environment against soil erosion, siltation and flooding. Soil erosion causes us to lose valuable agricultural soil to our dams and the sea. Siltation is when soil ends up in our Rivers and dams. This has an impact on flow rate of the river making it more easy to flood as well as reduce the capacity of the dams. As water moves quicker over terrain devoid of vegetation rivers tend to flood easier and more severely. So planting trees reduces the flow and therefore the thread of flooding.

Score of animals live in trees and the habitat that they provide. A single tree is good, clumps are better and forest is king. I think we all understand this point.

The beauty of trees cannot be debated. Between buildings as well as on their own trees can improve the look of the world around us.

It is important to protect trees for our children.



Ways to Save Trees :

• Reduce the consumption of products from trees (Eg.Paper)


• making tours Eco-friendly


• creating awareness among people


• Save by planting more tress


• Recycle,Reduce and Reuse
